The SR22 utilizes a light double-action & crisp single-action trigger, and the external hammer is designed with a rounded spur for easy cocking and single-action shooting.

Pistol can be fired with the hammer forward by simply pulling the trigger.  The hammer can be cocked for single-action mode resulting in a shorter, lighter trigger pull.  Firing the gun will automatically leave the hammer cocked for a single action trigger pull on subsequent shots.  It’s easier to be accurate when using the single action mode of firing.

A polymer frame and two interchangeable rubberized grip sleeves with angled serrations allow shooters to select either a slim or wider palm swell option.  This permits a better fit for people with different hand sizes.  No tools required to switch the grip sleeves.

The aluminum slide has serrations on both the front and rear for better grip and slide manipulation.The dovetailed, high-visibility, three-dot sight system has a fixed front sight and a rear sight that is both windage- and elevation-adjustable.  A reversible blade allows shooters to select two white dots or a solid black blade for the rear sight.  The front sight is not designed to be reversed.

The easy-to-use underside Picatinny rail features three cross slots for variable mounting of most popular accessories.

Inspection port in the top of the slide over the rear of the chamber allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber.

The SR22 also has an ambidextrous manual thumb safety/decocking lever and magazine release.  Engaging the safety will safely drop the hammer without firing the pistol.
